We were delighted to pick up our latest award, in the Innovation in Marketing Campaign category, at the EGR Marketing and Innovation Awards 2022.
The prize, which was collected at a gala evening at London’s Hurlingham Club, was awarded to us thanks to our strong marketing push around the Cheltenham Festival, which included a key partnership with Sky Bet and their ITV7 product.
Engagement levels across the ITV7 campaign across social media channels were judged as impressive by the awards panel. Social content was made up of clips from longer-form YouTube content, a TWE league promo, stats-focused imagery, UTV7 jackpot winner video and daily picks during Cheltenham week featuring our presenter James Mackie and TWE regular pundit Frankie Foster.
We managed to hit 2.086 million impressions, with 173,000 views and 42,000 engagements, helping us claim our latest industry recognition.
The award follows on from our victory in the EGR Operator Awards for Best Affiliate Marketing Campaign, for our work positioning Betfair as the first port of call for accumulator betting.
This was achieved with consistent content like ‘The Group Chat’ which features ambassadors including Will Perry & Alan McInally.
