    The Role:

    The Head of Commercial is responsible for all Checkd Development, Checkd Media and Checkd International partner relationships and commercial deals. This is a key senior hire for the business helping us drive revenue with partners in line with budget projections.

    This role reports to the Managing Director on both Checkd Media and Checkd Development teams.

    What you’ll be working on:

    • Proactively seeking new commercial partners and deals for the business, leveraging existing relationships and building new ones
    • Full responsibility for the UK and International commercial lines in the Group budget including; CPA & Rev Share partners, tenancy and fixed fees around tier 1 events (e.g. Cheltenham, World Cup & Euros), agency services (e.g. Paid Media, Social Media Management) and product licensing/sponsorship
    • Working closely with the Checkd Development team to understand the technology platform, roadmap and how to monetise with partners
    • Owning and leading the pitching process for potential deals with clients from idea generation to presenting back to partners
    • Building long term relationships with clients through regular communication and monitoring performance versus KPIs across the Checkd brands
    • Leading and developing the Commercial Manager, with
    • Develop relationships with internal Checkd teams including Product, BI, Brand, Finance, Marketing and Performance to help deliver commercial deals
    • Maintaining an awareness around competitors’ activity, delivery and the latest trends
    • Reporting back on commercial performance and state of play to the Senior Management team on a regular basis
    • Represent Checkd Media at external events such as industry conferences and networking events

    Who’s going to be suited to the role?

    You should 100% apply, if you have:

    • Five years or more within a commercial or similar sales type role within the betting industry
    • Experience working and monetising products and technology
    • Budget management and numbers focused
    • Strong multi-sport knowledge and interest
    • Excellent people skills to build and maintain relationships
    • Creative mindset to identify the best possible routes and ideas for partners
    • Confident dealing with senior partners and presenting in person
    • Proactive working independently and identifying potential clients
